For a family-friendly opportunity, children under 14 can volunteer with their parents for home grocery or meal deliveries. Additionally, they are always looking for little notes or cards to add to their grocery boxes and meals as a pick-me-up for clients and recipients.

The Carolina Raptor Center offers the SOAR (Students Organized to Advocate for Raptors) Program. These student volunteers are trained to educate visitors about raptor conservation through the use of interactive activities.

A rubberized surface and ramps make the playground and equipment accessible for kids using wheelchairs or walkers. Kids can play with a wheelchair accessible water table and solar system-themed sensory table. There are traditional and adapted swings along with slides and climbers within the playground.
