Also, on Sunday, February 28th, you are invited to join educators virtually and watch them tap the sugar maple trees at Ryerson Woods. Learn all about the science behind making maple syrup! Registration required in order to receive a Zoom ticket and link ($3).
The Wiltern - Moscow Ballet's Grand Russian Nutcracker
Moscow Ballet puts on a stunning version of the Nutcracker like no other. The performance is truly spectacular with gorgeous costumes and brings new life to classic characters like Clara and the mouse king.
Gethsemane Garden Center
Gethsemane is a plant oasis located at the north end of Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. They carry everything from shade loving apartment plants to flats of flowers for your garden. Their shop has a lot of great gifts and other goodies. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and gives clear instructions on caring for your plants. Every time I have a reason to go to Gethsemane it's a treat!
