Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (June 2023)

Kelly R. said: Young Matilda must overcome her neglectful family and cruel principal to stand up for herself and what is right. Having special superpowers doesn't hurt. Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are memorable as Matilda's ridiculous parents. This is an adaptation of the Roald Dahl book, which my kids also enjoyed.

Kelly R. said: We absolutely loved this Netflix adaptation of the Matilda stage production, about a young girl with a special mind and terrible parents. There's terrific song and dance numbers, the signature Roald Dahl darkness and humor, and a fantastic Emma Thompson as the villainous Miss Trunchbull.
