When did your child ditch the bottle?

My daughter is 2.5; she is seriously feisty, and I am trying to get her off a bottle still... I have honestly tried every sippy cup on the planet. She will drink out of a regular cup all day, but she wants the comfort of a bottle for milk before bed or naps. I welcome any and all creative solutions.

I was so tired of washing bottles (all of those Dr. Brown parts ...) that I took it away from each of my boys on his first birthday. My first boy loved milk so much and didn't care if it was in a bottle or a cup. My second boy was so stubborn that he would refuse solid foods and hold out for his bottle; therefore, moving him off the bottle at one was tough and needed love.
