How much time do you spend driving kids to activities?

I spend a lot more time now, since we moved last month. My kids' school (and my work) is now a full 30 minutes each way (instead of 7-10 minutes) so through the end of the school year, we will be in the car a lot. The kids will switch schools in September and take a bus which will alleviate a lot of driving. Some of their activities are also closer to where we used to live, however, as time goes on, I am confident we will become more involved with our new local community.

A lot of it depends on the time of year. My kids take the bus so I don't drive them to school but during fall and spring soccer seasons and 2 kids on 2 different travel teams we do an awful lot of driving back and forth.

It depends on where the activity is located. I will add I do try to carpool whenever possible to cut down on driving times. I usually stay at the activity and try to get some work done for an hour as long as they have free WIFI!
