Amanda Banta said:  Each year loads of pumpkins are hauled into town and the entrance to Wheelwright Park transforms into a pumpkin patch by the Cohasset Appalachia Service Project, which travels to the Central Appalachian Mountains each summer to help low-income families with housing needs. The patch is staffed by the ASP volunteers and their parents as part of the group's fundraising efforts and I try to talk to my boys about why teenagers are working the patch. The pumpkins are arranged in a different pattern each year to create a fun designed that can be viewed from above.
