The blocks are the perfect weight and size to make them easy for little ones to stack without a lot of accidental toppling over, but not so heavy that they hurt when they do topple down. I love that the wood is wonderfully smooth and very natural, so I am totally comfortable letting our 7-month-old gnaw on them while we play.
